God made people in his own image, that is why in the book of Genes 1:26 he said "let us make ma in Our image, according to Our likeness"; But man allowed the devil to rob him of his identity. in the book of Genesis3:5 the devil says" ye shall be as gods".
It is important to analyse before taking an action for the devil is cunning and can twist the truth just to steal your identity. Adam and Eve were already like God and there was no need for them to desire to be as gods
